Nine dead in Amsterdam plane crash

A Turkish Airlines plane has crashed on landing at Amsterdam’s Schiphol International Airport, killing nine people and injuring 84, six critically, according to a BBC report.
The Boeing 737-800, carrying 127 passengers and seven crew from Istanbul, crashed short of the runway, breaking into three pieces. Fortunately it did not catch fire.
Three of those killed are crew members. Dutch officials reportedly said that most of the passengers on board were Turkish.
The cause of the crash has not yet been established.
