Set on a secluded stretch of sandy beach on Thailand’s Gulf coast, Nishaville Resort & Spa is an ideal getaway for guests wanting to recharge their batteries and reconnect with nature.
Nishaville forms part of The Unique Collection, a portfolio of upscale and luxury resorts across Thailand and Southeast Asia – often in destinations that other international hotel groups can’t reach.
And this is what makes Nishaville unique. Located in the charming coastal province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, four hours’ drive south of Bangkok and past the built-up resort areas of Hua Hin and Cha-am, Nishaville is nestled amongst 11 hectares of coconut groves, overlooking a blissfully quiet beach and backed by the mountains of southern Myanmar.
But this secluded location doesn’t mean Nishaville lacks modern amenities or home comforts. Originally designed for the holiday rental market, the resort features 36 large luxury villas, all of which feature light, modern interiors and vaulted ceilings, elevating the sense of space. Ranging from 110 to 162m², the villas all come equipped with kitchens, living and dining areas and bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus outdoor terraces with swing chairs. Wi-Fi is free of charge throughout.
There is also a selection of Breeze Villas that offer an absolute beachfront location, with plunge pools overlooking the sea, plus 28 sea-facing suites and four beachfront pool villas.
All of which makes Nishaville ideal for weekend getaways, family breaks and corporate retreats.
Guests can unwind in a beachfront infinity-edged saltwater swimming pool and jacuzzi, work out in the sea-facing fitness centre, or enjoy a treatment at the spa.
Nishaville has also developed organic massage oil derived from the resort’s many coconut trees – part of a strong organic focus at the resort that also includes a large vegetable and herb garden.
But the resort’s main attraction is surely is stunning sandy beach, which is lapped by the azure waters of Gulf of Thailand. Guests can bathe in the warm, shallow sea, which is ideally suited for children, or kayak and windsurf on the gentle waves.
For visitors wanting to explore further afield, the resort can also arrange tours to an idyllic offshore island, or the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, which encompasses the lush jungle-clad mountains that straddle the Thai-Myanmar border.
Dining at the Nishaville Resort & Spa is impressively sophisticated, given the resort’s secluded setting. The Verandah and Seabreeze restaurant serve up a selection of Thai and international dishes using ingredients from the resort’s organic garden, while the Beach Lounge will open during high season providing a seafront setting for daytime drinks and snacks.
Alternatively, guests can simply choose to dine in the space and privacy of their own villa.
And this is what Nishaville does best; allowing guests to relax in space and luxury, reconnect with nature and enjoy time with family and friends. After all, isn’t that what we’re all searching for?
