The opening of five new Novotels – in China, Vietnam, Malaysia and India – in less than two months has established Asia Pacific as the key growth region for Accor’s most established brand. The five new hotels have extended Novotel’s regional portfolio to 86 hotels.
The new hotels are; the Novotel Beijing Sanyaun, Novotel Halong Bay (both China), Novotel Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Novotel Hyderabad Airport (India) and Novotel Nha Trang (Vietnam), which opens this weekend
Novotel opened its first Asia Pacific property, Novotel Singapore, in 1982 and plans to have a further 19 Novotel’s open over the next 2 years in locations such as Mumbai and New Delhi in India, Jakarta, Pekanbaru and Lampung in Indonesia, Kuching in Malaysia, Ulan Baatar in Mongolia, Christchurch in New Zealand, Taipei in Taiwan, Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand and Hoi An and Phu Quoc in Vietnam.
