Novotel Suva Lami Bay, formally known as the Tradewinds Hotel and Convention Centre, has been officially opened in Fiji.
Novotel Suva Lami Bay is the first “new” international brand to be launched in the Fiji capital for over a decade, and offers the Fijian capital’s newest rooms and largest conference facilities, with eight meeting rooms.
To celebrate its relaunch, the hotel has great value day delegate rates available starting from just FJ$48 per person per day (incorporating meetings space and refreshments) or from FJ$157 per person per day which includes overnight accommodation and breakfast for one.
The Accor Group has been operating in Fiji since 2006 and provides a range of branding through its properties such as Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, Novotel and Mercure Nadi and now Novotel Suva Lami Bay.
Vice President of Accor Hospitality New Zealand and Fiji Paul Richardson said the group of hotels provides employment to nearly 1000 people in Fiji and the creation of the “Cure Kids” fund is its commitment to the community of Fiji. Accor remains committed to the environment and environmental sustainability, evident through our commitment to Green Globe with the certification of all Accor hotels throughout Fiji.
Just 15 minutes drive from Suva, the Novotel Suva Lami Bay is located directly on the waterfront in Lami Bay and has 108 guest rooms, each with either an bay/ocean or a garden view.
With eight meeting rooms in a range of styles and sizes, the hotel is ideal for meetings, conferences and functions, and can hold up to 1000 delegates at a time, making it an excellent choice for business travellers and large corporate groups.
Onsite facilities include a “Husk” restaurant, “Tonique Gin Lounge” bar, gymnasium, business centre and a Senikai Day Spa.
