AccorHotels has continued to expand its upscale Pullman brand in China with the rebranding of a Novotel in the Pearl River Delta.
The existing Novotel Zhuhai in Guangdong province has now become a Pullman, adding 268 rooms to the upscale brand’s nationwide inventory. The rebranding comes just a year after Novotel Zhuhai hotel first opened on 19 December 2014.
“We are excited to welcome the hotel to the Pullman family,” said Paul Richardson, AccorHotels’ chief operating officer for Greater China. “The rebranding of the property is part of AccorHotels’ on-going global endeavour to further align with its brand architecture to ensure a more consistent brand experience for its guests.”
The 268-room Pullman Zhuhai forms part of a commercial complex located in Gongbei, close to the border with Macau and just five minutes away from the bus station that connects to Guangzhou.
Facilities include three restaurants, an executive lounge, two ballrooms, five meeting rooms, a wedding chapel, fitness centre, sauna, steam rooms and an outdoor pool.
The rebranding takes Pullman’s portfolio in Greater China to 25 hotels in 22 cities. Both the ownership and management of the hotel remain unchanged.
