Oceania Cruises has launched two new itineraries in Canada and New England. Departing in October, the 684-guest Regatta will visit historical and cultural ports of the coast, including the Bay of Fundy and the St. Lawrence River. “These cruises appeal to history buffs and travellers and those who want to see the magnificent autumn colours of this region,” said Oceania Cruises President Bob Binde. “Guests will see the autumn leaves at their peak and discover the charming seaports of the Eastern Seaboard”. The 12-night New England cruise visits Newport, Rhode Island and Quebec City amongst other destinations and includes excursions to Lunenburg fishing village, kayaking and cycling around the Arcadia National Park. Oceania’s Ultimate Panama Canal cruise will take a 21-night voyage from San Francisco to New York, visiting several destinations in the Mexican Riviera before stopping at Costa Rica and Colombia via the Panama Canal.
