Oman Air adds new UAE route

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman will launch on May 2nd its services between Muscat, capital of the Sultanate of Oman, and Ras Al Khaimah, in the UAE. The carrier offers passengers daily flights between Ras Al Khaimah and Muscat. With the introduction of Ras Al Khaimah, Oman Air marks its 34th destination worldwide and the third in the United Arab Emirates, the other two being Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Peter Hill Oman Air’s Chief Executive Officer says:
“Ras Al Khaimah is the 4th largest emirate in the UAE in terms of area and population and is a growing leisure destination. Oman Air’s foray into this new destination is sure to open a new market both for inbound and outbound travellers. With Oman Air’s daily service between Muscat and Ras Al Khaimah, the residents of this beautiful Emirate will surely enjoy the services of Oman Air.
Currently, Oman Air flies to 32 destinations with Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia joining the network from May 1st. Going forward, Oman Air will commence flights to Al Ain, Lahore, Islamabad, Dar-Es-Salaam, and Kathmandu, and Milan will join the network in the Winter Schedule.”
Ras Al Khaimah has 64 kilometers of beach along the clear blue Arabian Gulf. Among the many tourists attractions here are an 18-hole Golf course shaped around a large open salt water lagoon.
The new route will be operated by Oman Air’s ATR aircrafts.
