Oman Air welcomes AACO specialists

Oman Air recently welcomed representatives of several Arab airlines in Muscat.
The airline played host to a meeting on aviation emergency response planning. The meeting of the Emergency Response Planning Steering Board of Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) took place at the Holiday Inn Seeb Hotel.
Captain Waheed Khalfan Al Subhi, senior manager safety and emergency response planning at Oman Air said: “Emergency Response Planning is one of the most important areas of work for us, as it is for every AACO member. We will continue to offer our support and assistance to the region’s airlines as per our mutual cooperation agreement.”
AACO Emergency Response Planning Steering Board comprises the emergency response specialists of 11 AACO member airlines. Discussions are held to look at ways and means to improve standard operating procedures while enhancing mutual cooperation and support between airlines.
Participating airlines in the meeting included Afriqiyah Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, Gulf Air, and Oman Air.
