Oman Air’s Business Class seats win top design award

Oman Air’s Business Class seats have been lauded in the ‘Transportation’ category of the 2015 Good Design Awards.
The BE Aerospace Serenity Suite designed by TEAGUE, was highlighted at the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
Oman Air’s Serenity Suite was awarded for combining innovation and luxury to offer its Business Class travellers “an exceptionally comfortable flying experience”.
Paul Gregorowitsch, Oman Air’s chief executive officer, said the carrier was “thrilled and excited to receive this prestigious award”.
“Oman Air is committed to providing its Business Class flyers with an exceptionally comfortable and pleasurable journey, and our luxury Aerospace Serenity Suite is evidence of this,” he asserted.
Oman Air’s Business Class Aerospace Serenity Suite features premium-size specifications on seats, armrests and fully flat beds. Each seat includes features such as an electronically controlled backrest, leg rest and seat depth, adjustable armrests, and a meal table and cocktail table.
There is also a reading lamp, mood lighting, a pocket for magazines and newspapers, a storage compartment for carry-on baggage, and a selection of premium in-flight entertainment offerings.
