Oman Tourism has announced its largest familiarisation trip for Indian agents to date.
The tourism board is due to host 60 Indian travel agents and tour operators from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad later this month from 14-20 September.
The group will travel to Muscat, Nizwa, Sharqiyah Sands, Sur and Ras Al Jinz over five nights and six days with the chance to network with hotel, attraction and DMC suppliers.
The Discover Oman training programme was launched in 2011 and has been extended due to its success.
The country has seen a 10.4% increase in tourist arrivals from India in 2013 compared to 2012.
