Omega Holidays has announced an expanded flying programme from Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) for summer 2017, adding four new destinations to the Yorkshire airport’s schedule.
A number of one-off flights will be running for customers of Omega Holidays, which is a provider of flight-inclusive breaks and excursions to the UK holiday market.
The flights, which go to Venice, Naples, Dubrovnik and Friedrichshafen, will be operated by British carrier Eastern Airlines on an Embrarer E170 twin jet with 76 seats in a 2×2 configuration.
The seven night holidays include return flights, transfers, 3*-4* hotel stays, the services of an English speaking representative with excursions available from some hotels.
Maryanne Wilmer, marketing manager at Omega Holidays, said: “We have operated Northern Lights flights from Doncaster Sheffield Airport for a couple of years and some one-off charters back in 2012, but this is the first time we’ve included a more comprehensive summer charter programme from the airport. The new motorway link road off the M18, the Great Yorkshire Way, has opened the airport up to a much larger catchment area within a one hour drive which has been key in our decision to operate more flights from Doncaster Sheffield.
“We are really excited about this new flight programme for 2017 and the unique destinations we are offering so we are confident that our value for money, quality holidays will prove very popular.”
