St Kitts Tourism Authority has deemed its recent fam trip a success. The five-day trip, which was hosted by the tourist board, British Airways and St Kitts Marriott Resort, was held between 7-11 September as part of on-going trade initiatives. Representatives from BA Holidays, Q Holidays, Hotel Anywhere, Sovereign Holidays and Kenwood Travel went on the visit. “With positive news on bookings reported by BA, we want operators to be fully knowledgeable as well as enthusiastic when collating their brochure and online content,” said St Kitt’s UK representative Lisa Elmes-Bosshard. In addition, the tourism authority revealed that Sovereign may sell St Kitts product as a result of the trip. Further fam trips are being planned for October and November 2010, including a Scottish agents visit in conjunction with Barrhead Travel.
