Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan’s second-busiest international gateway, had its biggest monthly drop in passengers since 2003 in June. According to a Japan Times report, the airport catered for an average of 28,600 passengers a day last month, a 34% year-on-year drop, its operator was reported saying.
ANA and JAL have both cut Kansai flights this year, reducing the airport’s revenue.
