Outbound business travel decreasing

More people are coming to the UK but less are going elsewhere

Outbound business travel from the UK decreased for the first six months of 2013, according to figures released by the Office for National Statistics. 

However the numbers, which were collected at airports, did show that the UK’s inbound business travel market was increasing.

The number for the first six months of this year came in at 4,015,000 while last year the number was in the region of 3,361,000.
