Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced that it will launch the Park Royal brand in Indonesia this week, with the proposed opening of Park Royal Rainbow Hills Bogor Resort in 2014 and Park Royal Pecatu Bali Resort in 2016.
Under a management agreement with PT Bahana Bukit Pelangi (BBP), Pan Pacific Hotels Group will operate the 225-room Park Royal Rainbow Hills Bogor Resort, situated beside the existing Rainbow Hills Golf & Country Club.
40 miles south of Jakarta, the Park Royal Bogor Resort will feature recreational facilities including a spa, pool, fitness centre and event spaces and will provide access to the Rainbow Hills golf course, designed by J. Michael Poellot of the Golf Design Group.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group has also made an agreement with PT Pecatu Adi Graha to manage Park Royal Pecatu Bali Resort, which will form part of the 400-hectare Pecatu Indah Resort. Proposed facilities include a shopping mall and conference venues for up to 12,000 people.
Offering 380 hotel rooms and 35 villas, the Park Royal resort in Bali is located near the New Kuta Golf Course, an 18-hole championship-standard course that overlooks the Indian Ocean. In addition, the resort will also feature a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, jogging track and business centre.
“As one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, Indonesia presents vast business development opportunities and potential for both our brands,” said A. Patrick Imbardelli, president and chief executive of Pan Pacific Hotels Group. “The opening of Park Royal Rainbow Hills Bogor Resort and Park Royal Pecatu Bali Resort will further strengthen the Group’s presence in this important growth market.”
