A pair of giant pandas will arrive at Tokyo’s Ueno Zoo today. The pandas will be the first at the zoo since 2008, and arrive in Tokyo following a JPY90 million (US$1 million) per year deal between the city’s metropolitan government and China. The animals will stay at Ueno Zoo for at least 10 years.
