Meliá Hotels International has opened its newest lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Paris’ vibrant business district.
With spectacular panoramic views of the city and its key landmarks, Meliá Paris La Défense is the French capital’s largest four-star hotel to open in the past decade.
Created by Vasconi Architects in partnership with renowned French interior designer Jean-Phillipe Nuel, Meliá Paris La Défense has been designed in the shape of the sail of a boat. Jean-Phillipe Nuel was the brainchild behind the high-profile revamp of Paris’ iconic Molitor Swimming Pool.
The property boasts 369 guest rooms, including 29 suites, across 18 floors. Each room has superior-quality linen, an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and premium amenities, as well as a flat-screen satellite TV.
Located on the 19th floor and set against the city’s magnificent backdrop, the Skyline Paris Lounge & Bar provides an extensive cocktail list, tapas and appetisers, as well as live music and DJs. The hotel has two restaurants, the Spanish themed Le Miroir and The Place lobby bar & lounge located on the ground floor.
The hotel also caters for meetings and business events, offering 850 square metres of flexible event space and eight conference rooms, which can accommodate up to 400 people. Each meeting room offers Wi-Fi and a range of audio-visual equipment.
The hotel features a 24-hour onsite fitness centre located on the 19th floor allowing guests to work out and enjoy spectacular views of the city.
