Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is forging new relationships with the travel and tourism industry in Japan and strengthening its existing relationship with its Japan Chapter members. PATA’s Asia Regional Director, Shahram Saber, has kick-started the new accord with a presentation to the Japan Chapter’s annual meeting. Shahram shared ideas with Chapter members on how the industry may best cope with the financial crisis.
“The presentation was well received and the Chapter members in Japan are extremely pleased with the support offered by PATA. We’re looking at several opportunities where we can work together, such as sharing case studies and best practice, to enable the industry in Japan to overcome these difficulties,” Shahram said.
