Peru ranked among the world’s ten most preferred destinations according to Ernst & Young, and Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism has said that they expect a nine to ten percent increase in visitor arrivals in 2013.
Riding on this growth, PromPeru, the Trade, Tourism and Investment Office of Peru in Dubai presented its key offerings at the recently concluded Arabian Travel Market.
The UAE is of great importance to Peru as it attracts growing numbers of Emirati travelers and tourists from the UAE year-on-year. Alvaro Silva-Santisteban, director of PromPeru said: “Few countries have coastlines, mountains and jungles. Even fewer countries are, or have been Empires, and only seven have a ‘Wonder of the World’, and only chosen ones can be considered leading culinary destinations. To our luck Peru has it all.”
