Philippines developer to create “tourism estates”
The Philippines’ largest developer, Ayala Land, plans to develop “tourism estates” in various parts of the country, Bloomberg has reported. The first of these will reportedly be located at the Anvaya residential beach resort project, west of Manila.
The company is counting on the amenities it has put in place to lure other developers to invest in the Anvaya project, said Ayala Land President Jaime I. Ayala.
Anvaya “has now primed up that entire area,” Ayala said in an interview this week. “You put in place all the infrastructure, all the amenities, make it attractive for locators (investors) to come in.”
