Phnom Penh could get skytrain

Cambodian officials studying ways to ease growing traffic congestion in Phnom Penh have proposed that a skytrain could be built between Central Market and the city’s international airport, the Phnom Penh Post has reported.
“Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines have such projects,” Secretary of State, Touch Chankosal, was quoted saying. “I think that it is time we take on this megaproject,” he added.
The project is estimated to cost US$300 million, the report added.
