An exhibition of cityscapes photographs has been opened at Heathrow Terminal 5.Henry Reichhold’s photographs were taken in Mumbai and Dubai on his pocket-sized mobile phone and now more than 90 images hang at the airport. The images contrast the poverty-stricken Mumbai and one of the world’s fast developing cities, Dubai. The images were captured in November 2009 over eight days and feature intimate portraits and a 3.5 x 10 metre print of the Burj Khalifa.”The Nokia N86 Explore exhibition visually maps the polar opposites of two of the world’s most extreme urban dwellings. It also goes to show the potential and range of new multimedia communication devices which are able to capture the world in a way never previously thought possible,” said Mr Reichhold. The exhibition will run until May 2010.
