Polaris issues travel trends data for 2016

London-based travel SEO agency Polaris has released an informative infographic of customer demographics and travel trends for online travel agents for 2016.
The infographic, entitled Target Demographic: Knowing your Customer in 2016, is designed to provide online travel agents and travel marketers guidance in matching customers with the right travel packages.
The infographic covers customer age groups, gender, UK location, income and social grade, relationship status, holidays per year, value and spend, travel partners and favourite and booming destinations by travel agent type or specialty.
The study conducted by the agency finds ‘staycations’ and city breaks at the top of UK travellers’ favourite holidays, with adventure travel as new trend for older age groups and singles.
The data also reveals Cornwall as a favourite destination, with Abu Dhabi, Spain and Cambodia as runner ups for adventure, beach holidays and river cruising in 2016.
