The recently ended 7th King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament held at the Anantara Resort Golden Triangle has raised more money for elephants.
So far over US$200,000 has been raised in the last seven tournaments to help provide protection and support for the embattled Thai elephant.
The proceeds go towards the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre and the National Elephant Institute, the official beneficiaries of the annual event.
The Anantara Elephant Camp was launched five years ago with four elephants and today there are 27.
