Portman Travel CEO appointed chairman of RADIUS

Michael Hare, CEO of Portman Travel has been appointed as chairman of global travel management company RADIUS. He will replace Bill Tech – president and CEO of Travel and Transport – who will remain on the company’s board.
Hare has almost 35 years of experience, with roles including chairman of the Guild of Travel Management Companies (GMTC) and COO of Portman and managing director of Fleet Street Travel.
Commenting on the appointment Hare said: “RADIUS is one of the world’s largest and most renowned travel management companies and I am therefore honoured to become chairman. I hope to bring new insight and experience to the role and help consolidate RADIUS’ position as a world class TMC, while also meeting the challenges that continue to face the business traveller.”
