Two objects have been spotted floating in the waters southwest of Perth, which could be related to the Malaysia Airlines aircraft.
Investigators from Australia, New Zealand and the US are heading to the area 2, 500km from the Australian city to search for the objects.
The search has added hope to finding the missing Boeing aircraft although authorities warned the objects could be unrelated, according to the BBC.
Earlier this week the search of the missing MH370 aircraft headed further south and 26 nations are now involved in the hunt, now nearly two weeks since its disappearance.
Yesterday families of passengers that boarded the aircraft in Kuala Lumpur stormed into a press conference demanding for more information into the missing aircraft. Authorities have been criticised for not keeping the families informed, with mixed media reports coming through each day.
