Preferred Hotel Group has announced the addition of its third Preferred Hotels & Resorts member hotel in Tokyo – The Prince Park Tower. Located in the Shiba Park, near the Zozoji Temple, the 673-room Prince Park Tower is the flagship hotel of Japan’s Prince Hotels & Resorts chain. Designed and built in 2005, the hotel rises 33 storeys with views of the nearby Tokyo Tower, the city centre, and surrounding parkland.
Rooms are equipped with complimentary high-speed internet access, jet tubs, and balconies in selected rooms. Other hotel facilities include nine restaurants, including a 33rd floor Sky Lounge, as well as a 25-metre heated pool, gymnasium, hot spring bath and bowling alley. The hotel also features extensive MICE facilities, with a 3,600-pax capacity ballroom, 17 meeting rooms, and three separate wedding chapels.
“Tokyo remains one of the region’s most important corporate and leisure hubs, and we are already seeing a strong return of corporate business to our hotels since the tragic events in March,” said Mark Simmons, Preferred Hotel Group’s Area Managing Director for Asia. “Prince Hotels & Resorts is one of Japan’s largest and most respected hotel operators and we are thrilled to be partnering with their flagship property in Tokyo.”
“Through our partnership with Preferred Hotel Group, the Prince Park Tower Tokyo is laying the foundation for higher international brand recognition,” said Hisaaki Takei, Regional General Manager of The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. “By utilising Preferred’s dynamic global sales and marketing network, I believe we will benefit from an increase in foreign guests from around the world.”
