Preps for Peru Travel Mart 2015 get underway

Preparations for the 22nd Peru Travel Mart (PTM) is currently underway aggressive.
The event scheduled to be held from 15-17 May 2015 is being co-organised by Promperú and the National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur).
The Mart will witness attendance from 130 Peruvian exhibitors and 140 international travel buyers. This will be accompanied by a series of seminars which will focus on training and new tourism products feature birdwatching, the Qhapaq Ñan route (recently recognized by Unesco), Rural Community Tourism, business tourism and gastronomy. These factors will help promote and strengthen these sectors in the international market.
President of CANATUR, Jorge Jochamowitz, highlighted the presence of new international buyers. He revealed that buyers from United States, Russia, India, Italy, France, Bangladesh, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have all confirmed their attendance. Likewise, buyers from Panama, Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile and Colombia will also be present for the first time.
