Prince Alwaleed discuss investment issues with South Africa

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) recently meet with HE Marthinus Van Schalkwyk, South African minister of tourism in Ryadh.
The accompanying delegation included Lucas Makhubela, director general, ministry of tourism, HE Mogamat Sadick Jaffer, ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tebogo Palai, official, ministry of tourism, Michael Sarjoo, counsellor – South African Embassy, Phoka Motsilili, counsellor- South African Embassy, R Mahlale, commercial counsellor – S A Embassy, Erick Makhubela, first secretary- S A Embassy, Riaan Aucamp, personal assistant to the minister. The meeting was also attended by Fahad Bin Saad Bin Nafel, executive assistant to HRH the chairman.
The meeting witnessed discussion on economic and investment issues, Schalkwyk referred to investment opportunities in South Africa in the hotel sector, and presented Prince Alwaleed with proposals. The Prince promised to study investment opportunities in South Africa and said that such investments would strengthen economic relations between Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
