Propello targets cycling enthusiasts

Cycling’s popularity in the UK has reached record heights and is now the third most popular sport in England. From riding to and from work, leisurely cycles on the weekend and taking part in the sport competitively, an estimated 3.1 million people ride a bicycle each month.
The nation’s love of the bike has created a demand for coaching advice and training. With this in mind, Propello is a new service that has designed a variety of unique training programmes, aimed at cyclists all over the world, which aims to help them achieve their fitness goals. Headed up by Rob Wakefield, a qualified level 3 cycling coach, Propello offers personalised programmes are delivered across three levels – Debut, Sportive and Super Sportive and combine static and road training.
Debut: Designed for cyclists looking to start a more structured cycling plan, the ‘Propello Debut Training Programme’ claims to improve fitness by 25% in the first year of training.
Sportive: For the more advanced cyclist who has some experience in structured cycling but wants a challenge, the ‘Propello Sportive Training Programme’ is designed to help take 30 minutes off their 100km time in the first year of training.
Super Sportive: The ‘Propello Super Sportive Training Programme’ is designed for more experienced cyclists, who spends an average of 8 hours per week training and riding. The programme is designed to enable them to compete in any major cycle sportives in the world.
Propello is offering an exclusive free six-week training programme for anyone who is preparing for a 50-100 mile event until the end of August 2015.
For those who want a completely customised plan, the ‘Propello Bespoke Coaching’, offers cyclists one-on-one interaction, tailored to their individual needs.

In addition, Wakefield also runs bespoke guided tours of Exmoor National Park where Propello is based. These unique cycle tours will take you through some of the UK’s finest landscapes, from woodlands to waterfalls, offering an ideal weekend getaway for any cycling enthusiasts. Propello offers four types of guided routes to suit each person’s individual requirements.
