QAIA reports over 2.5 m pax

Airport International Group (AIG) recently announced that the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) witnessed continued growth since beginning of 2015 and up until May.
The airport witnessed year-to-date passenger traffic decline by 8.1% to come in at 2,655,407 pax and year-to-date aircraft movements fell by 6.3% to settle at 27,624 ACM, as opposed to 2014.
During May, QAIA received 565,591 passengers compared to 605,564 passengers, representing a 6.6% year-on-year decrease, and registered 5,980 aircraft movements as opposed to 6,323 ACM, representing a 5.4% year-on-year drop, a slight yet positive improvement compared to the start of 2015.
