Qantas to boost WA services

Qantas has announced that it will increase capacity between Perth and the Western Australian (WA) regional destinations of Broome and Karratha. In addition it will introduce Boeing 737-800 services between Perth and Port Hedland from February 2009.
Qantas Regional General Manager Western Australia, Ian Gay, said the additional services and capacity were part of the airline’s ongoing strategy to grow capacity in Western Australia (WA) for the resource sector and tourism industry.
