Qatar Airways Boeing 787 showcase

Qatar Airways will participate in the Singapore Airshow for the first time this year. The airline is showcasing its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on static display from 11-14 February 2014. This is also the first time that any airline will be showcasing the 787 aircraft at the Singapore Airshow.
Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker said: “Asia is a very important market for us, and there is no better arena in the region than the Singapore Airshow. We are presenting what we genuinely believe to be the one of the best and most advanced offerings in the air travel market.”
The aircraft showcases cleaner cabin air, dimmable windows, and spacious seating configuration. Qatar Airways’ 787 aircraft features 254 seats in a two-class configuration. In business class, there are 22 seats and a 232 in economy class. The airline currently has nine Boeing 787 Dreamliners in its fleet of aircraft, with 51 more on order.
