Spicers Tamarind Retreat, the new Thai-style resort in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast hinterland, has added six new two-bedroom pavilions. The new Forest Pavilions each include two bedrooms, an outdoor deck, day bed and a fireplace, and form part of the second stage of development at the retreat.
“Our new two-bedroom pavilions are finally complete and now offer the perfect spacious escape,” the resort’s General Manager, Paul Blain said. “Since opening last year, Spicers Tamarind has experienced strong demand from groups and friends travelling together and our new Forest Pavilions give more flexibility by accommodating up to four people at a time. These pavilions are also perfectly suited for couples looking for more space on extended stays.”
Located 90 minutes’ drive from Brisbane, Spicers Tamarind Retreat has a distinct Asian influence, with activities including Thai cooking classes and Thai massage.
As well as the new Forest Pavilion, the resort also features five one-bedroom Falls Pavilions each with a wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor wooden hot tub.
