Queenstown named as one of world’s most scenic airport landings

Queenstown International Airport in New Zealand has been voted as one of the world’s most scenic airport landings.
The global poll of 7,500 global travellers and industry experts, conducted by PrivateFly, ranked Queenstown as third in the worldwide list, behind Malta International Airport and Nice Cote D’Azur Airport in the south of France.
Barra Airport in the UK, which lies on a Scottish beach, and Juancho E Yrausquin Airport on the Caribbean island of Saba, also made the top five.
No Asian airports made it into the top 10, which was completed by Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto, Ireland’s Donegal Airport, St Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport in the Caribbean, Los Angeles International Airport and London City Airport.
