The Ramada Downtown Dubai is looking to expand its source markets and enhance awareness of the property.
According to general manager Samir Arora: “The ATM presents us with an ideal showcase to promote new products, launch special offers and make contacts in emerging markets. We are in the process of sourcing new markets and diversifying our guest profile.”
The hotel showcases 181-suites and caters well for the GCC family market. The countries on target include Russia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brazil. The other areas would be Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan where family group are popular.
In a bid to tap into these new markets, the hotel has begun an extensive refurbishment of interiors. The phased refreshment of public areas and room furnishings was scheduled for completion by early next year. The other areas of renovation include the all-day dining restaurant with a new look and theme. The meeting rooms and public areas of the hotel are also being revamped.
