Rare crane returns to Nepal national park

A rare species of crane has been spotted in Nepal’s Chitwan National Park - the first time it has been sighted in the area for 10 years. According to a Himalayan Times report, a guide from the Bird Education Society found three cranes in the Doragi area. Of the world’s 11,032 rare bird species, 865 species are found in Nepal, and564 are in Chitwan, the report stated.
