Regal Hotels International has signed a new property in China’s Henan province.
Located in the city of Anyang, which is one of the seven ancient capitals of China, the Regal Anyang Hotel will form part of the new Anyang World Trade Center.
Opening in 2015, the property will feature 360 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a heated swimming pool, gym, spa and meeting space.
“Regal Hotels is delighted to partner with Anyang World Trade Center,” said Belinda Yeung, Regal’s executive director & chief operating officer. “We are confident that with their support and Regal Hotel’s solid experience in hotel management, Regal Anyang Hotel project will be a success and will bring a new level of hotel experience to Anyang city.”
Currently, Regal Hotels manages seven hotels in China Mainland, along with seven in its home market of Hong Kong. But its portfolio is set to expand significantly in the coming years, with a further 13 hotels currently under development across China, including new properties in Chengdu, Foshan, Wuhan, Xi’an and Zhengzhou.
