Hong Kong-based Regal Hotels Group has announced the signing of the first hotel in its new luxury brand, Regal Royale. In a deal penned recently with Ning Hu Real Estate (Kunshan) Co Ltd, the Regal Royale Hotel Kunshan will open in China’s Jiangsu province in 2013.
Regal Royale will be marketed as five-star premium brand of Regal Hotels Group, offering high-end services including a dedicated 24-hour club lounge, state-of-the-art meeting and guest room features and amenities.
The new Regal Royale Hotel is situated in Kunshan, a city located between Shanghai and Suzhou, 30-minutes drive from the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Wuxi Sunan International Airport. It is also on the Beijing-Shanghai rail line.
The property will feature around 300 contemporary rooms and suites, including a Club Floor. There will be a variety of dining options including an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge and a patisserie. Meeting and banqueting facilities will include a pillarless grand ballroom and several multi-function rooms. Leisure facilities will include an indoor swimming pool, health centre, indoor golf room and spa.
Currently, Regal Hotels Group manages and operates six hotels in Hong Kong and another five in mainland China. Together with the hotels under development in cities in China including Chengdu, Foshan, Shanghai, Suzhou and Zhengzhou, Regal has a portfolio of more than 7,500 rooms.
