Restaurant makes seven-cow kebab
Feeling a bit peckish after a night in the pub? Well a restaurant in Turkey has the perfect solution – a one-tonne, seven-cow doner kebab!
The monstrous meat masterpiece stands two and a half metres tall, weighs in at 1,198kg and has been officially recognised as the world’s biggest kebab. Prepared in the Turkish capital Ankara, 10 chefs needed the meat from seven scaffolding to construct it and a crane to heave it into place.
The Mirror newspaper reported that the effort has now been officially recognised by Guinness World Records, almost doubling the size of the previous title-holder.
It was later cut up and dished out to spectators at the Ankara Shopping Fest. You want chilli sauce with that mate?
