The Legian Bali has reopened following a four-month refurbishment.
The 68-room property now features a new 30-metre infinity-edged swimming pool and beachfront sundeck, landscaped gardens, improved lighting in several guest rooms and expanded sea views from its private, three-bedroom Beach House.
The work marked the resort’s most extensive facelift since its opening in 1996, and the Legian’s GM, Kevin J. Abramowicz, said that guest feedback had been considered in the redsigned.
“The past half-year has been all about taking a near-perfect property and layering in the subtleties to make it that much better. Our guests love the Legian’s design, but they wanted more light, so we worked on more light. We absolutely listened to guest comments when planning the improvements,” said Abramowicz.
The highlight of the renovation, the new infinity-edged pool, was built from scratch, closer to the sea than the resort’s other two pools. Facing southwest, the deck space now fronting the resort’s Ocean Bar offers sunset views, while the wall separating the Ocean Bar from the pool area was torn down to offer better views of the kids’ pool and beach.
