The Cannon is SACO’s first new lifestyle aparthotel in the city of London. It offers 77 well-designed, immaculate studio and one-bedroom serviced apartments to business and leisure travellers. It’s a “home away from home” – complete with all the mod cons for the contemporary traveller. cannon_1

Situated in the heart of London, The Cannon is just a short walk from iconic historical landmarks including St. Paul’s Cathedral, Southwark Bridge, The Tower of London, and Tower Bridge.

A wealth of watering holes and eateries dot the vicinity. The close proximity to three tube stations makes access to the rest of London just as easy.

When you arrive you are greeted with the traditional warm friendly SACO welcome by the 24-hour reception. The helpful on-site team are trained to answer any queries about the aparthotel and its location making residents who are unfamiliar with London feel at ease.

Cannon_2The Cannon’s 47 one bedroom and 30 studio apartments blend British tradition with contemporary urban living. Each thoughtfully designed unit includes a living and dining area with a Smart HDTV. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher and oven and includes a microwave and kettle. Every unit has a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hair dryer. Towels are provided. Apple TC box, multi-socket plugs with integrated USB ports and free superfast Wi-Fi are available in each apartment.

Double glazed windows shut out the sounds of the city and it’s surprisingly quiet inside. Comfortable large beds, soft duvets, plump pillows and crisp linen sheets guarantee a great night’s sleep.

The Cannon’s on-site gym allows one to break free from the stresses of the day.

The communal lounge, The Lounge, offers The Cannon residents a place to be with people, without having to leave the premises. Designed to complement a Club life style, its spacious club room in warm colours, plush sofas, and a fireplace set the mood to relax and recharge. Free tea and coffee services, daily newspapers and a browsing library are available.  Free Wi-Fi and even a work space create a perfect balance to work and engage with colleagues or unwind with family and friends.

SACO is conscious of trends in consumer demand and guest feedback, which form the core of the aparthotel planning.Cannon_3

Stephen Hanton, CEO of SACO, said: “The serviced accommodation sector is changing fast and SACO aims to be at the forefront of that evolution, reshaping hospitality with new, purpose-built developments that meet the needs of tomorrow’s travellers.”

Truly in keeping with the times, from 2017, SACO guests will enjoy the convenience of SACO’s App to check-in, open apartment doors and access local information.

“Today’s traveller is looking for more than just a night’s stay, they want an experience. Using our knowledge and long experience as industry leaders, we have taken a thoughtful, timely and timeless approach to the design of The Cannon to deliver a unique quality proposition for today’s travellers that provides a genuine home away from home.”

The Cannon provides a memorable, immersive and cultural experience. With new energy and purpose it represents a new template for the hospitality industry. The SACO brand as SACO says ‘offers the modern traveller with greater value, autonomy, comfort and space – typically unavailable with traditional hotels’.
