Riau Air launches new B737 flights

Indonesian carrier, Riau Air, has launched services using its new Boeing 737-500 aircraft. Malaysian news agency Bernama reported that the plane carried passengers across the Malacca Strait from Riau, on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, to Melaka International Airport in Malaysia on Friday. Riau Air, formerly called Riau Airlines, also plans to launch three weekly services between Melaka and Pekanbaru.
