The exceptional weather conditions predicted for Jordan has led Royal Jordanian to set up a contingency plan.
The airline’s emergency committee recently came together headed by acting president/CEO Captain Haitham Misto, to discuss the airline’s readiness over the next few days.
As per the plan, the airline will keep passengers informed about possible updates or changes in flight times. Misto stressed that safety of passengers, staff and aircraft is a priority for all operational, commercial or technical procedures. The various mediums that will be used to communicate information will e across short text messages (SMS) or through the travel agents’ phones. This will be in addition to the airline website and various other channels.
