Royal Jordanian suspended its regular route between Amman and Kiev after eight years of operations which started back in August 2008.
The decision came in line with the five-year business plan the company is executing – network restructuring. Tourism and air transportation between Jordan and Ukraine lately saw a noticeable regression, affecting feasibility of the route.
Recently, the airline also suspended routes to Delhi, Mumbai, Colombo, Lagos, Accra, Alexandria and Milano. Subsequently, last year and this year, RJ added five new destinations to its network Tabuk, Najaf, Ankara, Jakarta and Guangzhou. A number of destinations are yet understudy.
