A team of general managers from across eight Rotana properties in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait are headed for an India sales mission starting today. The three-day sales mission is scheduled to take place in Mumbai and Delhi with the objective of augmenting the brands presence in the country.
The team from Rose Rayhaan by Rotana lead by general manager, Karim Nahas will look at meeting as many business partners in the two cities to increase market share.
As Nahas explains to Travel Daily Middle East: “There is a big potential from the Indian market from both the leisure and business segments. The summer period could be really an opportunity for Indian tour operators to have a good value for money offer at the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana due to its location, service and accommodation. We are looking into growing our share from the Indian market by approximately 15 % compared to 2013.”
The hotel has witnessed positive growth of 10% in 2013 from the India market over 2012. However the plan moving ahead is to increase Rotana’s brand awareness in the market. “This will be achieved with our meeting with high profile people of the tourism industry selling Dubai as a destination and promote our hotel’s and facilities in the Indian market,” concluded Nahas.
