Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is continued its rapid Asian expansion with plans for its first property in Guangzhou.
Scheduled to open in 2017, Rosewood Guangzhou will occupy the top 16 floors of the 530-metre Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre, which is currently under development in the city’s Tianhe district. Once complete, it will be Guangzhou’s tallest building and among the 10 highest in the world.
The luxury hotel will feature 251 rooms at a minimum size of 55m², plus 355 Rosewood Residences, 23 of which will be duplex apartments.
Facilities will include seven F&B outlets, including a restaurant and a sky bar on the 107th floor, plus a two-level spa, health club and indoor pool.
The hotel will also feature 2,250m² of meeting space, including a residential-style area, a 970m² grand ballroom, three function rooms, two VIP rooms, one bridal suite and a ‘Sky Mansion’ on the 108th floor including a kitchen and terrace.

Rosewood Guangzhou becomes the latest hotel in the company’s Asian pipeline, joining Beijing, Phnom Penh, Phuket, Bali, Bangkok, Jakarta and Sanya.
