Royal Brunei Airlines is launching flights from the UK to Melbourne from 29 March 2011. The four-times weekly service will depart the UK, via Bandar Seri Begawan to Melbourne. “With the launch of the Melbourne flights, Royal Brunei Airlines will be able to meet demand for seats to Melbourne from the UK, while also expanding Royal Brunei’s presence in Australia and Brunei’s growing popularity as a stop-over destination,” said Royal Brunei Airlines Executive Vice President of Commercial & Planning, Riaz Moiz. “Trade links between the three countries will also be enhanced. The addition of Melbourne is another positive step towards establishing Brunei as a competitive hub in the Asia Pacific region.”
