Royal Caribbean Cruises has announced its 2012 Asia cruise schedule for Voyager of the Seas. The ship’s inaugural Asia season will start on 26 May in Singapore, followed by sailings from Shanghai (Baoshan) and Tianjin in China.
With space for 3,840 guests, the cruise liner will be first arriving in Singapore in May from whence it will be offering short cruises of three to five nights to Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Phuket, as well as an eight-night cruise to Shanghai that features Ho Chi Minh and an overnight in Hong Kong.
The ship will also be offering five- to seven-night North Asian cruises from Shanghai and Tianjin visiting a variety of Japanese and Korean destinations such as Fukuoka, Kobe, Okinawa and Jeju from June to October.
With Voyager of the Seas and Legend of the Seas operating in Asia next year, Royal Caribbean International’s capacity in the whole of Asia will more than double.
