US-cruise line Royal Caribbean has revealed that Jason Liberty will become the firm’s chief financial officer (CFO) after Brian Rice retires next spring.
Rice has worked for Royal for over 20 years and is the current vice chairman and CFO, responsible for supply chain and strategy.
The appointment has been made with immediate effect, however Rice will stay on until next spring, presumably to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible.
Liberty has been with the company for eight years, most recently as senior vice president of strategy and finance. He was previously a senior manager at KPMG.
